Conduit and Duct Clearing in Southern New Mexico
A blocked electrical conduit or duct bank can stop a project cold. Whether it is crushed, collapsed, or packed with dirt and debris, you need to find the exact problem spot before you can fix it and get back to work.
We use hydro excavation to expose the duct without digging blind. Pressurized water breaks up the soil and a vacuum truck removes it, so we can see the conduit, confirm what is blocking it, and clear the line with a jetter when needed, all while protecting the surrounding utilities and cable.
We work with general contractors, utility contractors, electrical contractors, and municipalities across Las Cruces and southern New Mexico who need a blocked duct found and cleared without unnecessary excavation or downtime.
How we clear a blocked duct
1. Find the obstruction. We work from your prints and locate marks to narrow down where the line stops.
2. Expose it without damaging it. We pothole down to the duct using hydro excavation. Pressurized water and vacuum, not a backhoe or trencher. If the conduit is live, this matters. Water and vacuum will not crush, cut or nick a duct the way a steel bucket or a trencher chain will. On concrete or asphalt we saw-cut a clean opening first and disturb only that section.
3. Clear the line. Once the duct is exposed we run the jetter through it. Pressurized water breaks up and flushes out the mud, silt, roots and debris blocking the run.
4. Clean up and hand off. Everything the jetter pushes out goes into the vacuum truck, not onto the customer's property or into a storm drain. We do not pull cable. We clear the line and hand it back to your electrical contractor so they can get back to work.

A recent job in Las Cruces
A commercial property in Las Cruces had a break in a buried electrical conduit under a concrete driveway, and the line was clogged.
Excavating the full run would have meant tearing out the whole driveway. Instead we saw-cut one section, potholed down with hydro excavation to expose the conduit without damaging it, and ran the jetter through the line to clear the blockage. One day on site.
